We realize your home is one of your most important investments and that you may have some concerns about the installation process. The following information will give you a good idea of what to expect and alleviate any fears you may have. What Happens during Installation

  1. When the installer arrives at your home, they will quickly review the installation plan with you to see if you have any last minute concerns.
  2. The installer will take all necessary precautions to prevent damage to your home during the installation process.
  3. The installer may need to move furniture to create work areas around the places where sensors, wires, and control panels need to be installed. If you have precious valuables that you would rather move yourself, we understand. We will let you take care of them. Please ask the installer for help if you need it.
  4. At this point, the installer will begin running wires and installing the sensors and control panels. If you want to leave while the installation is going on that is fine. If you want to stay and watch, that is fine too. All of our installers are specially trained to install systems so that they not only work right, but they look neat and clean once they are in.
  5. If you are home when the installer finishes the job, they will take time to show you how to use the control panel and answer any questions you may have. If you are not home when they are done, they will lock up your home and leave the system disarmed until you are ready to arm it, unless you make other arrangements.
  6. When you are ready to arm your system, please call us at (800) 589-7100 and let us know that you have a new installation and want to learn how to arm and disarm your system. We will put you in touch with the right person to answer your questions to your satisfaction.

Competency

Vigilante Security alarm systems are installed by certified technicians. We do not sub-contract our installations.  All our skilled alarm technicians receive full in-house training in microprocessor-based electronics plus installation techniques that emphasize concealment and meticulous craftsmanship.

Quality Assurance

We conceal all wiring and sensors whenever possible, and most importantly, the entire alarm's circuitry is fully "supervised" which prevents circumvention and makes the system fail safe. In other words, the alarm system monitors itself and immediately notifies the central station if it senses that someone has tampered with the wiring of the system.

All of our circuitry includes the highest quality stranded, copper-jacketed wire with all connections hot soldered for longer life and system reliability.

We carry $3 million per occurrence of special liability insurance for our customers' protection.

All our employees undergo police background investigations and are fully insured and bonded.

We offer 24-hour service.
